Founder Andrew Cainen qualified as an Architect in 1979 and following a number of years in private practice, pursued a career within the manufacturing sector developing a specialist knowledge of masonry construction, with over 25 years’ experience in the brick industry for several leading companies.

Following representation at the Brick Development Association in various Working Groups, and contributing to technical documents over many years, Andrew is now an Independent Consultant and attendee at industry meetings, and a Past President and the Technical Officer of the Guild of Bricklayers.
